Court Appointed Special
Advocates of DC
Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) for Children of DC trains community volunteers to speak up for children in the DC foster care system. CASA DC is a member of the National CASA Association that advocates for foster children nationwide.
Sam is 19 years old and has spent his entire life in foster care but he hasn't let that or Cerebral Palsy, keep him from a positive attitude and a hopeful future. Sam is wishing for a handicap accessible van so he can spend more time with his foster family and maybe even get a girlfriend!
