The Wish: A prepaid cell phone for Marqease
Marqease wants to have a cell phone like all of the teens do. He wants to feel "normal" and this would be a step toward growing up in his eyes, having his own phone. When asked who he would call he said he was going to call one of his Woods' staff. He would like a pre-paid cell phone with a case and head phones.
Marqease is a moderately intellectually disabled teen who is very excited to be turning 16 in May. Marqease has been in placement at the Woods Program for the last 9 years. He has a goal of adoption and the Division continues to seek an adoptive home for him. Marqease loves to play basketball and football with his friends. He enjoys eating, especially chocolate chip cookies. He also like motorcycles, swiming and going to the mall.
